I just had to post some non Sonic channel stuff :shakefist:
Gotta post some non Sonic stuff anyway....
However, I coloured an old pic of Honey I posted some time ago: [link] .Tried a new coloring style on this, whattaya think?

Made it all around a bit darker cause the yellow seemed a bit too bright and changed some of the shadings.

I really like this piece, although I'm not familiar with the original piece, I think this version has a lot of charm to it. The body shape's great. The single wing is a really nice touch too.

On the whole, I think the colouring works really nicely. The shading on the clothing is far more subtle than it is on the hair and wing, but that's no bad thing.

As much as I like the body shape, it is quite lop sided. The curve of the hip isn't level. I don't think that's a bad thing, it gives your style that extra bit of charm. The thing that bugs me a bit is the arm - it seems like part of it's just been cut away. Saying that, the hand looks great.

It seems in places you've changed the line thickness. The only place it's really obvious is the white muzzle part of her face. I don't really know how to phrase it, but it's almost like it stands out a bit too much against the rest of the picture. Still, these problems are only minor and don't really detract from the overall picture, which is great.

Nice picture =) I didn't see Honey in such a military style before (which surprisingly suits her). Great work on her pose and clothes; I especially like how you manaded to define that khacki pattern on her pants ^^ The weapon looks cool (I wonder what she's about to do with that stuff? Go and kick some butts probably? :giggle:)
For the coloring: it looks good, but in some places it doesn't seem having enough depth. Maybe it would be better to try more darker and colder colors for shadows and a bit brighter for highlights (like you did on her hair). Oh, and looks like you finally got a grip on doing highlights on the eyes :w00t:

Der neue coloring style ist schon mal gut geworden, nur (whaa, ich hätte nie gedacht, dass ich DICH mal kritisieren würde) wenn du schon, ich nenne es mal "realares" coloring, machen willst, müsstest du ein bisschen mehr auf die Form von gewissen Körperteilen (die Titten >.< :XD:) und dessen Lichtreflexe achten.
Und (muss zwar nicht sein, sieht aber dann besser aus) wenn du indirektes Licht (z.B. von uns aus links am Top, wo das shading ist) mit einbeziehst, siehts noch ne ganze Stange realer aus^^ Und die Übergänge der Lichtreflexe könnten noch ein wenig weicher rüberkommen, sonst sieht man, wo du wieviel gemalt hast...

achja, fällt mir gerade auf:
Die von uns aus linke Brust, im Vergleich zur rechten, sieht extrem viel kleiner als die andere aus. :o
Du hättest die Form von der linken noch mithilfe einer Linie bis unter die Schulter vollenden können.

Sonst geil :D

Ich weiß, ich bin kein guter kritiker, aber ich versuchs xD
